Epilogue

My thanks to all of you that tramped along with me sharing in my words and pictures.

This journey was likely seen by most observers as a traveler experiencing places and cultures. And that formed a part of it. Certainly it was the easily accepted and communicated public message. But it was also a pilgrimage, a time to heal, to reflect on experiences, and space to discover alternative understanding.

Nothing is stationary

Relationships are fleeting and dynamic

Biology rules your personality and decisions

Procreation defines relationships

There are many people in the world

Even with knowledge we remain ignorant

Home lies within your heart and head not in a place

Stop, clear your mind of expectation, breath, open your senses and take in what surrounds you

Smile, a foreign language is not a barrier

Loneliness doesn't come from being alone, it comes from feeling ignored or rejected.

Breath

Stuff will never satiate your heart.

Expectation lives at the heart of unhappiness

Listen before all else

Listen before waking

Listen before assuming

Listen before hearing

Listen before deciding

Listen before sharing

Listen before anger

Listen before resting

Listen when too exhausted to listen
