Snake River Raft
I rafted the Snake River 22 July 2024 with Steve Levinger from West Table to Sheep Gulch.
Steve wanted to float this section of the Snake River just east of Alpine, WY, as it was on the way home from the Middle Fork Salmon. It took us under a couple of hours. Steve did the shuttle by hitchhiking; he was picked up in about 3 minutes by displaying his PFD. The run was just over 12km with 40m of elevations drop. The morning was pleasantly cool. The big rapid was Lunch Counter which we sailed through after the previous weeks excitement on the Middle Fork.
